With its color LCD display, the IP-based DL-A terminal can store up to 3,000 fingerprint templates and 60,000 log records. The software included with the system communicates with the terminal via TCP/IP connection within the network or USB download/upload. The software also allows management of personnel data, assignment of terminals to different doors, entry record report generation, and remote door lock release when connected with the terminal within the network.
